We opened our doors in 2015 and since then we have helped many clients to achieve successful immigration outcomes. Although we are based in Manchester, we regularly assist clients with immigration and asylum applications and appeals throughout England and Wales. Our solicitors are admitted to the roll of solicitors in England and Wales and we can represent clients in all courts and tribunals.
The Team
Rasab Khan
Barrister

Rasab Khan was called to the Bar in 2006 by Lincoln’s Inn. He obtained his Master of Laws degree from City University London. Rasab then founded Saxon Solicitors, allowing him to develop his interest in immigration and asylum law and offer a personal service to clients, often in difficult circumstances. Rasab also has Law Society accreditation as a Supervisor in Immigration and Asylum law.

Masa Khawaja

Masa joined Saxon Solicitors and began her career in immigration law after graduating from the University of Central Lancashire with a First Class LLB (Hons) degree and then completing a Master’s degree and Legal Practice Course at the BBP University in Manchester.
As a Solicitor, Masa deals with the complete spectrum of immigration law cases including both personal immigration and business immigration matters. A vital part of Masa’s role is talking with clients to really understand their case. Every case is different and therefore the applicable law is often different too. Spending time with clients enables her to develop the most compelling legal arguments based on the relevant law.
“My motivation for going into law was humanitarian-based. As a Palestinian, I grew up with terms like injustice, war crimes, refugees and asylum. I wanted to find a career that would enable me to make a difference. To me, my role isn’t just about securing visas or processing claims. It’s about reuniting families and securing people their freedom.”

Asma Khan

Asma graduated from the University of Westminster with a First Class LLB (Hons) degree in Law. She is currently studying for her Solicitors Qualifying Exams and LLM on a part-time basis at the University of Law. She works full-time at Saxon Solicitors as an Immigration Caseworker and is often the first point of contact for new clients, assisting with any questions they may have about their matter.
Asma is adept at identifying the problems, issues, and challenges that clients face and then explaining in simple terms the solutions available and what needs to be done to resolve their issues in the most timely and cost-effective way possible.

Tayyabah Ali

Tayyabah graduated with a First Class law degree from Manchester Metropolitan University. She completed her Master’s degree and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, following which she joined Saxon Solicitors.
In her role at Saxon Solicitors, Tayyabah assists clients throughout the whole spectrum of immigration matters. Her responsibilities include completing and reviewing applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Immigration Rules, liaising directly with clients to gather necessary information, and collating all required supporting documents. Additionally, she drafts comprehensive and persuasive submissions to strengthen applications, ensuring that we present the best possible case for our clients.
Tayyabah’s meticulous approach and dedication to her clients’ needs make her an integral part of the legal team at Saxon Solicitors.
