
Turkish ECAA Visa
This visa route is specifically for Turkish nationals who wish to extend their leave in the UK, whilst already being on this visa. This is for applications who are starting a new business or work for an already established, business. This route is under the Turkish EC Association Agreement. This route can no longer be used for entry clearance.
Requirement For Turkish ECAA Visa
There are set requirements are laid out by the Home Office to extend this visa, these are as followed:
- Have a valid Turkish Businessperson visa
- Running a viable business
- Able to continue paying your share of the costs of running the business
- The applicant’s share of the profits continue to be enough to support you and your family without needing to have another job
Can my family join me?
When an applicant applies under this route, they can also apply for their dependants to their leave. A separate application will need to be completed for each dependant and where the applications are successful, they will be granted the same leave as the applicant. A dependent can be:
- A spouse, civil partner or unmarried partner
- Dependent children (under the age of 21)
- Dependent children over the age of 21 if they are already your dependent
Can I Settle under this route?
If you have been resident in the UK, for a period of 5 years, you may be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain (ILR). When applying for ILR, the applicant must have the relevant knowledge of Life in the UK and the relevant level of English language.
