This is called a further submission and it can be used when you have been through all available appeals procedures. You will also need to explain to the Home Office why the evidence was not previously submitted. Your reason needs to be a valid one or your application may not be allowed. Examples include coming into recent possession of a document from your home country, such as a birth certificate or arrest warrant or evidence of a change in the situation in your home country that would adversely affect you.

Where you are putting forward a new argument, you will need to explain why you did not use this before. This could be because of a recent conversion to a religion not viewed favourably by the authorities in your country or because you felt unable to reveal personal information previously, such as your sexuality.
